Future Crab Studios is teaming up with singer-songwriter Gillian Moor, to record her first full solo album after 20 years of music and cultural activism.

For the last two decades, Gillian has impacted the underground music in T&T scene with her unique acoustic style, creative collaborations and support for emerging performers. Her Songshine open mic series provided a platform for scores of singers, musicians and poets from 2004 to 2009.

Her recent critically acclaimed Cool Nights series has continued to put the spotlight on local talent. She has performed her original songs internationally, including in Paris, London, Venezuela, Dominica and Jamaica.

The Everchanging album will be produced at Future Crab Studios by a_phake (Ravi Maharaj). The collection will present her original songs through the years, and introduce new material in a fully produced body of music fusing calypso with pop, rock, folk, punk, soul and other influences. Her songwriting is poetic, soulful, relevant and uplifting.

“I’m calling on all my friends, fans, fellow artists and supporters who have been there through the years to help me make this project a reality,” says Gillian. It’s been a long time coming, and I’m really happy it’s finally happening.”
