What is September Fest?
September Fest is a yearly event that attempts to showcase not just the mainstream music out of sweet T+T (Soca, Chutney, Trinibad/Zess) but also the lesser-known genres such as RnB, Hip Hop, Pop, Dance music, Synth wave as well as emerging genres such as New Calypso and Roots Pop. We love all genres but we want to provide more balance and representation and introduce you the audience to music you may not have heard before alongside acts that are already familiar. The ideal response we want to get on September 17th is “Wayyyy, I didn’t realise [so and so artiste] was so bad boy nah. Geeeezzz.”
September Fest 2022 was amazing. We could not have predicted the outpouring of love and support from the crowd. We hope to have this event again in 2025. Stay tuned.
