So imagine this… Three artists from three continents combined their talents for a lethal combination on one Power Soca track.
It speaks to the global reach of Trinidad and Tobago’s indigenous culture and truly echoes what the great Machel Montano espoused when he exclaimed, “Soca to the Universe.”
Ann G hails from the continent of Asia and is a bi-lingual singer from Japan. She is no stranger to soca and has worked over the years to build bridges between Japan and T+T. She has previously competed in the International Soca Monarch and was a finalist in 2014 with the song “We Love Carnival”.
Leah resides on the continent of Europe, specifically in the UK, and is a native of Trinidad and Tobago, born and grown. She is an alumnus of the MusicTT Spotlight programme and now sings Soca overseas, where she has flourished and is the reigning UK Groovy Soca Monarch for 2023.
Kulchaman represents the South American continent and hails from Aruba. He is signed to Sony Music Publishing and the EUK Soca Monarch for 2022 . He currently resides in the Netherlands and continues to rep his country abroad.
Together, they have combined to bring a mix of beautiful vocals and energy to this fast-paced, groovy number that is truly an International creation. Expect to see them soon when they touchdown on our shores to Paint the Road.
Paint the Road is a celebration of Carnival and a glorious expression of the colours of mas that lights up the road at the chromatic climax of revelry.
Future Crab Studios is proud to have worked with a large team of writers and artists worldwide to make this scintillating track a reality.
